<p>In a graduation party, friends and family get together and celebrate the graduate&#8217;s accomplishments, as well as toast to his bright future.  </p>
<p>Graduation party planning need not be fretful with all the tremendous online resources and professional party planners all around. <p>This last question is what often comes out of everyone’s mouth during a party. One can never expect a party to be a foodless encounter. The food is probably the most important part and it’s also the hardest.</p>
<p>Food planning for a birthday party can be no joke; to guide the desperate do it yourself party people out there, here are a few tips to keep you going.</p>
<p><strong>Decide on the type of party food first</strong></p>
<p>If it’s a child’s party, it’ll probably be best to ask your child what he wants cooked. For an adult or teenage party, a themed menu would probably work best; how about an all Mexican menu? But remember that those tacos, burritos and quesadillas can be very spicy so have plenty of juice available.</p>
<p>If you can’t have party food in just one type of nationality, you can make it something like an international table, one side for Italian, one side for country, one side for Mexican and another for Chinese. Then you can theme each section of the buffet table according to the “nationality” of the food.</p>
<p><strong>Make food ahead</strong></p>
<p>Time is of the essence, usually there is no time to cook everything before a party. So scan the recipe book for make-ahead meals that can be frozen or refrigerated and just reheated on the day itself to prevent the hassle.</p>
<p><strong>Too many sweets can make hyperactive guests</strong></p>
<p>This is especially true if you’re having a children’s party. And this is true for older guests as well. Try to make three savory dishes and three desserts, include the cake in the count if it’s a child’s party.</p>
<p><strong>Have plenty of drinks available</strong></p>
<p>If it’s a child’s party, allow for three to four drinks per child, especially if you’re planning on having games. Put names or pictures on every child’s tumbler so that he doesn’t forget which one is his. Then have a refill station somewhere near the buffet table low enough for the thirsty little hands to reach.</p>
<p>For adult parties, wine should be served moderately. Have a list of wines you want to serve and average it among the guests. A rule of thumb is, if it’s too much for you, it’s probably too much for the guests. So think about what you can take and multiply it by the number of guests cut, off a third of the amount and that’s the maximum you should serve.</p>

It can be a wise idea to serve simple foods so you can take the time to be with the guest and enjoy the celebration; as simple food preparation will not require a great deal of work as well as clean-up. </p>

<p>Your decorations should enhance the party’s mood, so make an ambience that can really add flair to your victory celebration. </p>
<p>You can have lighted lanterns, strobe lights, paper lamps, black lights, candles or if you are having a Mexican party, you can make attractive use of inverted Mexican hats filled with white sand with a lighted candle at the center; placing these abundantly at different locations in your yard will certainly create a lively and heartwarming atmosphere to your victory party.</p>

<p>As the wedding reception is basically a celebration after your wedding ceremony, keep in mind that above all, you ought to enjoy it and savor every moment of it.</p>
<p><b>Things to do before the wedding party:</b></p>
<ol>
<li>Decide where to host the reception.  Take into consideration the comfort of the place that will host your reception.  When you want your wedding reception party to be held in a garden or outdoors, always consider these factors: wind, rain and humidity.  Require the hotel to put up tents attractively decorated with flowers and lighting to solve the problems of rain as it also adds to the mood of the party.  </li>
<li>Choose the decorations, most specially the flowers.  Talk to the florist of your choice about what you want, where you want it, how you want it and what kind of atmosphere you wish to create in your wedding reception. <li>Choose the wedding cake.  When selecting a wedding cake, make certain that it goes with the motif of your wedding reception.  Consider your color motif as well as the style of your wedding.  Choose it well, as the cake often is the center of attraction of the reception, aside from you (the bride) of course. </li>
<li>Decide on the music. Select the style of music that best conforms to the style and again, the motif of your wedding reception. Normally, it begins as a background, making the music slow and soft as the beat picks up encouraging everybody to dance after the meal. Decreasing the music speed as well as slowing down the volume usually signals the conclusion of the celebration.</li>
